Vanderbilt Music and Mind will kick off the 2015 Biennial Conference of the Society for Music Perception and Cognition on Saturday, August 1, with an afternoon and evening full of musical enthusiasm at Ingram Hall, Vanderbilt Blair School of Music.

Music researchers will mingle with music industry professionals, performers, and music-lovers. In addition to the Keynote Address by TED speaker Dr. Charles Limb and live musical performances, there will be dedicated networking time for attendees to enjoy refreshments while exploring research- and community-themed stations. Join us for this exciting overview of the state of the art in music research!

The event will include something for everyone, including musicians, music industry professionals, researchers, members of the medical community, and the general public.

Admission to the Kickoff is included in registration for the full SMPC Conference. Those who are not attending the full conference, August 1-5, and wish to attend the Kickoff ONLY need to register. Tickets are $5.
